Carpentry

Students will build a skill set that includes framing, estimating, roofing, and interior finishing and learn how to read and interpret blueprints. They will construct a variety of structures using a wide range of professional power tools and carpentry materials while earning apprenticeship and college credit.

All new applicants must apply for Construction Innovations. This course is only for seniors.

Carpenter’s Joint Apprenticeship Training Program, Students who successfully complete the Career Connections Level 3 certifications will obtain two units of elective credit.
Ranken Technical College - college credit opportunities exist through credit for prior learning or credit by assessment.

College credit and certification are not guaranteed. Their attainment is dependent on student performance in both the course and on external industry assessments. All certifications are through external agencies and the accommodations permitted will vary from assessment to assessment. Additionally, students must participate in the full two years of the program to be potentially eligible for all certifications listed.
