Students learn how to assess, estimate, and repair using modern welding, sanding, masking and painting techniques using the same advanced equipment found in professional auto collision repair companies.

Essential Physical Skills Needed for Success

Stand or lie on the ground under cars for extended periods of time
Make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers, hands and arms to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
Good hand-eye coordination
Work for extended periods of time
Able to climb, lift and carry objects of 50 pounds or more, and handle taxing physical activity
Tolerate an automotive environment which includes high places, small spaces, extreme temperatures, dirty spaces, loud noises, and a variety of automotive-related smells
