Mentorship & Education Program
Regional employers can develop a robust talent pipeline by partnering with our programs. Ameren, Spire, and Boeing, for example, collaborate with our counselors and instructors to offer site visits, speaking engagements, soft skills training, and extended education opportunities. These initiatives are designed to spark interest and foster engagement with their companies among our students. Over the past decade, these partnerships have successfully integrated hundreds of our graduates into the regional workforce.
Be Our Guest
Inspire the next generation by sharing your expertise with our students as a guest speaker in one of our programs. Your real-world insights and experiences are invaluable, and our students are eager to learn how the skills they are developing can be applied in professional settings. By offering your guidance, you'll help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, empowering students to envision their future careers.
Host a Tour
Enhance our students' learning by providing them with the opportunity to visit real-world work environments. These immersive experiences will offer valuable insights into potential career paths, allowing them to witness the day-to-day dynamics of various professions. By engaging directly with the workplace, students will gain a deeper, hands-on understanding of what different careers entail, helping to build a solid foundation for their future.
Host an Internship
Our students are gaining the essential soft and hard skills, certifications, and licensures that today’s employers require. Many of our programs encourage internships during the final quarter of senior year, and some even offer work-ready opportunities over the summer. Hosting a student intern is a powerful way to help them launch their career while also building a professional relationship that can extend well beyond graduation. It’s an investment in their future and an opportunity for your organization to nurture new talent from the ground up.
Serve on an Advisory Board
At Tech, we are committed to staying at the forefront of industry developments to continuously enhance our teaching methods. To achieve this, we depend on the expertise of professionals who serve on our advisory boards, helping ensure our students are learning the latest and most innovative practices. Our advisory boards meet twice a year, offering critical insights that shape our curriculum, equipment choices, certification opportunities, and more. Additionally, board members engage directly with our students, providing mentorship and career guidance that extend beyond the classroom.
