Transporation FAQs

Does South Tech provide bus transportation?

Absolutely! South Tech will pick you up from a stop near the primary address we have on file (AM students) or at your homeschool (PM students) and bring you to Tech. When you’re done with your class, we will take you to your homeschool (AM students) or to a stop near your primary address (PM students).
Please allow 10 days for any address or stop location changes to take effect.
If a student does not ride a stop for 10 days in a row, they may be dropped from their route.

What happens when Tech has school but my home school doesn't or I'm virtual at my home school?

Can I be picked up at my home school instead of near my home in the morning?

What if I play sports or have other after-school activities I need to attend at my home school?

What if I need to drive?

What if I go to school in St. Louis County, but live in St. Louis City?

If you are part of the Voluntary Interdistrict Choice Program, VICC will provide your to/from home transportation. For AM students, VICC will pick you up from a stop near your home and after class we will take you to your homeschool. For PM students, we will pick you up at your homeschool and bring you to Tech, and after class VICC will take you to a stop near your home.
When your homeschool isn’t in session but Tech is (or you are virtual at your home school), VICC will take you to or pick you up from a stop near your home if you notify the office that you will need transportation.
